About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the SICU/CVICU plans, directs, coordinates, and provides high-quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. The position reports to the Patient Care Services Director/Shift Manager. This is a full-time night-shift role with a holiday rotation in the Med/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is available based on experience; the bonus does not apply to internal applicants.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of ICU experience.
• Current California RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification; new graduates may obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• TCAR certification required within 12 months of hire or transfer. Current employees or transfers who have TNCC must obtain TCAR by October 1, 2019.
• Complete the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module within 6 months of hire or transfer into the unit and maintain it thereafter.
• PALS is required for relief charge duties only.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• CCRN preferred.
