About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Testing Department’s Stress Lab team at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. The nurse will provide care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced setting, using critical thinking and teamwork to support patient safety and comfort. The position has day shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Associate of Science in Nursing required.
- Two years of critical care experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures for safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and adhere to ACLS protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
