About The Position

Baptist South is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time day position in the Cardiac Respiratory PCU. Candidates may have medical/surgical or CCU experience. The role provides nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while organizing and supervising care provided by supportive personnel and coordinating care from ancillary services. The nurse includes patients and their significant others or families in individualized care planning, educates them about disease processes and care plans, and acts as a patient advocate. The position also involves interacting with physicians and other hospital departments and participating in staff meetings and unit activities. New hires are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Associate of Science in Nursing required.
Licensed Registered Nurse required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Hospital experience.
1–2 years of telemetry experience.
Candidates may have medical/surgical or CCU experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) preferred.
1–2 years of cardiac experience preferred.

Responsibilities
