Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac PCU
About The Position
Community Health Network is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac PCU. The RN provides patient care consistent with professional standards of practice and care, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of Community Health Network. The role manages care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimal outcomes safely and cost-effectively, using collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource-management skills. The RN works collaboratively with a team in an 18-bed, fast-paced unit caring for a variety of medical and surgical patients, including cardiac patients and patients using BiPAP machines or requiring vasoactive drips. Some patients require an intensive level of care.
Requirements
- Demonstrated performance consistent with professional standards of practice and care and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrated skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.
- Graduate of an NLN-, CCNE-, ACEN-, or NLN CNEA-accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
