Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages patient care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner. The role requires performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, and performance; the Nurse Practice Act; and Community Health Network’s mission and goals. The RN demonstrates collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource-management skills. The position works in a fast-paced environment as part of a collaborative team in a 32-bed PCU unit. The unit cares for a complex patient population that includes renal, cardiac, neuro, bariatric, critical stroke, and multi-system-failure patients, and provides overflow care for ONS.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN-, CCNE-, ACEN-, or NLN CNEA-accredited school of nursing, or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Demonstrate performance consistent with professional nursing standards and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource-management skills.
