About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) service at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center - University Hospital. The role involves working on an MS/PCU unit, with patient ratios of 1:4 and 1:3, respectively. Nurses must be available to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed and work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.
- Required skills: MS/Tele; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; telemetry unit monitoring; use of Rapid Response/Code teams; feeding tube care and management; blood product administration; and phlebotomy.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support to the MS/Tele service.
- Provide care in the MS/PCU unit with patient ratios of 1:4 and 1:3, respectively.
- Float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.
- Work every other weekend.
