About The Position
The Meadows Skilled Nursing is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team! This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts and a $5,000 bonus for full-time new graduates. The Meadows of Central Massachusetts is an 82-bed transitional care facility that provides comprehensive skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for individuals needing specialized medical care before returning home. We specialize in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care services, with a comprehensive, personalized approach to patient care that incorporates therapeutic intervention and medical management.
Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of medical/surgical, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the comprehensive assessment of resident and family needs to determine required nursing services.
- Understands and integrates the needs of adult and geriatric residents in the delivery of nursing care.
- Provides direct care, along with delegating and supervising all nursing care.
- Demonstrates clinical competence, manages resident care, and improves the quality of care.
- Establishes professional relationships and utilizes professional skills.
- Fulfills responsibilities of the role of the facility.
- Develops clinical expertise per specialty.
- Manages and provides direct care for assigned residents.
- Manages resident activities while monitoring the quality of care during the assigned shift.
- Serves as a liaison to keep the Program Manager and/or Nursing Supervisor aware of major occurrences and needs of the program.
