About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare system in Wausau, WI, to staff a brand-new, state-of-the-art Cardiac Tower. This role offers the clinical complexity of a big-city ICU with the lifestyle of a premier outdoor destination. You will manage complex cardiothoracic and post-surgical patients in a unit designed with the latest medical technology and a workflow built for nurse efficiency. Requirements

• RN license (WI or compact eligible)
• Experienced RN or a New Graduate with a passion for critical care
• Thrive in high-acuity settings and value patient-centered safety
• BLS required

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred (training will be provided if needed)

Responsibilities

• Manage complex cardiothoracic and post-surgical patients
• Gain ICU-level exposure to drips, chest tubes, central lines, and advanced telemetry
• Work in a high-trust environment where the interdisciplinary team relies on your clinical judgment
