About The Position
SpecialtyCare is expanding its presence in Upland, CA, and is seeking an experienced or new graduate Staff Perfusionist. The role involves joining a team of four Perfusionists and eight surgeons, covering four hospitals. The caseload is adult-only and includes a variety of case types, as well as ECMO. SpecialtyCare is the largest provider of perfusion services in the United States, supporting 1 in 8 heart surgeries nationally and employing over 500 perfusion leaders. The company supports its team members through funding for continuing education, conferences, and professional association dues. Full-time Perfusionists are encouraged to attend conferences and participate in state perfusion societies. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program
- Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist
- Ability to work on Call
- Must live within 30 minutes from the hospital
- Focused on clinical quality and delivering the absolute best results for patients
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a high stress environment necessary
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills are essential
- Proven self-starter who works well independently and as a part of the OR team
