Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedics
About The Position
MidState Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurses for its Orthopedic units across multiple hours and shifts. Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. The hospital provides clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities through its Orthopedic Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply. MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, along with a wide variety of specialties. It serves patients throughout the region from birth through the end of life.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- One year of recent acute-care RN experience is preferred.
