About The Position

Hartford HealthCare is hiring Registered Nurses for Orthopedic units at MidState Medical Center across multiple hours and shifts. Orthopedic Registered Nurses practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. The hospital provides clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities through an Orthopedic Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, along with a wide variety of specialties. It serves patients across the region from birth through the end of life.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associate's degree in Nursing.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• One year of recent acute-care RN experience preferred.

• Provide nursing care on an Orthopedic unit.
