About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for an acute care hospital in Salisbury, North Carolina. This is a 13-week assignment with a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts, from 18:45 to 7:15. The role requires call and floating; call frequency depends on patient census. The unit is challenging and very busy, and nurses must be comfortable caring for up to six patients. First-time travelers are accepted.
Requirements
- Active RN license for North Carolina; compact licenses accepted where applicable.
- Telemetry specialty.
- At least 2 years of recent Telemetry experience, including experience with similar patient ratios and acuity.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIH certification.
Nice To Haves
- Traveler experience is accepted, but first-time travelers are also welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide Telemetry nursing care in an acute care hospital.
- Care for a target ratio of 1:5–6 patients and be comfortable taking six patients.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required based on patient census.
- Float as required.
Benefits
- Weekly pay of $2,140.
- Housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week where eligible.
