About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for an acute care hospital in Salisbury, North Carolina. This is a 13-week assignment with a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts, from 18:45 to 7:15. The role includes call, floating, and overtime opportunities. The unit is described as challenging and very busy, and travelers must be comfortable caring for up to six patients. First-time travelers are accepted.
Requirements
- Active RN license for North Carolina; compact licenses are accepted where applicable.
- Telemetry specialty.
- At least 2 years of recent Telemetry experience, including experience with similar patient ratios and acuity.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NIH certification.
- Must be comfortable caring for up to six patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital.
- Care for a target ratio of 1:5–6 patients and be comfortable taking six patients.
- Participate in on-call coverage, with frequency depending on patient census.
- Float as required by unit needs.
Benefits
