About The Position

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role is on a Telemetry/Orthopedic/Trauma unit caring for adolescent and adult patients with cardiac, orthopedic, trauma, and neurosurgical conditions. Local candidates are accepted, with local rates applying. The assignment is scheduled to start in November 2026 and involves night shifts, four 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 48 hours weekly. Weekly gross pay is $3,100 to $3,500.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Recent Telemetry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac monitoring and interpret telemetry.
• Manage cardiac drips.
• Care for orthopedic, trauma, and neurosurgical patients.
• Manage chest tubes and provide wound care, traction, halo, and pin care.
