Registered Nurse - Telemetry
About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry Unit delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and guides patient and family teaching, as well as the activities of other nursing personnel, while maintaining standards of care. The nurse is directly responsible and accountable for care given to assigned patients and communicates with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptoms. The role requires responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain it.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain it.
Nice To Haves
- Previous acute care hospital experience.
- Ventilator management experience.
- Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Responsibilities

- Remain accountable for care delivered to assigned patients.

- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in a patient's condition or response to treatment.
