Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - MS Telemetry
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, comprehensive nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the patient experience and integrates care based on the nursing process, following established standards for safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control. The goal is to discharge each patient after providing an optimal level of care. The RN assesses, plans, implements interventions, and evaluates care to facilitate patient outcomes. Teaching patients and significant others about healthcare needs is an essential part of the role. The RN also works as a member of the multidisciplinary team to promote high-quality, cost-efficient healthcare.
Requirements
- Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
- Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Florida.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- For telemetry and higher-acuity units, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association and Basic EKG interpretation are required.
