About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the overall patient experience and integrates patient care using the nursing process. The RN directs patient-focused care according to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimum level of care. The position is per diem and works night shifts in MS Telemetry.
Requirements
- Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualifying for Registered Nurse licensure.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- For telemetry and higher-acuity units, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association and basic EKG interpretation are required.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement interventions, and evaluate care to facilitate patient care.
- Teach patients and significant others about health care needs.
- Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to promote high-quality, cost-efficient health care.

- Direct patient-focused care in accordance with safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards.
