Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - MS Telemetry
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, comprehensive nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the patient experience and integrates care using the nursing process, directing patient-focused care according to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimum level of care. The role also involves teaching patients and significant others about health care needs and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote high-quality, cost-efficient health care.
Requirements
- Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualifying for Registered Nurse licensure.
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- For telemetry and higher-acuity units: ACLS (AHA) certification and basic EKG interpretation are required.
