Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - MS Telemetry
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the overall patient experience and integrates care based on the nursing process. The RN directs patient-focused care according to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimum level of care. The RN assesses, plans, intervenes, and evaluates to facilitate patient care. Teaching patients and significant others about health care needs is an essential part of the role. The RN works as a member of a multidisciplinary team to promote high-quality, cost-efficient health care.
Requirements
- Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- For telemetry and higher-acuity units: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association and basic EKG interpretation are required.
