Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem
About The Position
UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital, affiliated with Select Medical, is hiring a Registered Nurse in Jacksonville, Florida. The inpatient rehabilitation hospital provides care for people facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The role is per diem, with day and night shifts available, and pays $49.00 per hour. The hospital offers an extensive orientation program and the possibility of future full-time opportunities. Part-time and per-diem employees may qualify for 401(k) benefits after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or a subsequent calendar year.
Requirements
- Valid state RN license.
- At least one year of RN experience.
- BLS certification required at hire.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or enrollment in a BSN program.
- Clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers.
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
