About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers safe, direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides care within their scope of practice, directs and guides patient and family teaching, and supports the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the unit. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care of assigned patients, communicates with physicians about changes in clinical condition—including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptoms—and responds promptly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

This is a full-time night position in the Observation Unit at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available to qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous acute care hospital experience.
• Ventilator management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
