About The Position

Pampa Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (Med/Tele RN) to work in both the Med-Surg and Telemetry departments. This nurse cares for patients in medical-surgical units, including those who need cardiac monitoring, and helps oversee their safety, comfort, and well-being during hospitalization. Training is available for suitable candidates, and newly graduated RNs are encouraged to apply; no experience is needed for this entry-level role.

The position is full-time, working 12-hour night shifts at Pampa Regional Medical Center in Pampa, Texas.

Requirements

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain certification.
• No experience is needed; newly graduated RNs are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter; preferred.
• Previous acute care hospital experience.
• Ventilator management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Provide hands-on care, including wound care, treatments, assistance with activities of daily living, and emotional support.
