About The Position

VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery for an acute care hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. This is a 13-week assignment with three openings and a start date of November 8, 2026. The role offers weekly pay of $2,269, calculated at $63.03 per hour for 36 hours per week. Eligible nurses may also receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $2,653 per week. Shifts are either day shift, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., or night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., for 36 hours per week. VitalHire offers weekly direct deposit, recruiter support throughout the assignment, assistance with licensing, credentialing and onboarding, and potential contract extensions or future assignments.

Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license, or a multistate compact license accepted in Maryland.
• At least 2 years of recent acute-care Labor & Delivery experience.
• BLS, NRP and ACLS certifications.
• Fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN or equivalent) is typically required.
