IL Registered Nurse - Cardiac Rehab

About The Position

As a Registered Nurse, you will support Deaconess’s healing mission by providing patient care. Nursing staff use knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment to deliver care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and coordinates nursing care according to established clinical nursing practices, collaborates with other professional disciplines to support effective and efficient care and desired patient outcomes, and works closely with patients and families by coordinating results and communicating with the Deaconess Care Team.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of previous experience in a clinical unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
