About The Position
The Registered Nurse assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN applies knowledge of nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members or significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize care. The RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care in accordance with nursing practice standards and administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required depending on the specialty area.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Multi-State Compact RN License or Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One year of experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
