About The Position
Join the Critical Care team at Anna Jaques Hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse. The nurse monitors patients’ clinical status, interprets clinical and diagnostic data, and acts in accordance with that interpretation and physician orders. The role requires proficiency in caring for monitored patients, responding appropriately to emergencies, meeting unit-specific competencies and mandatory requirements, and completing criterion-referenced competency checklists. The position is per diem with rotating shifts.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Massachusetts RN licensure or eligibility.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Previous critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical status, including monitor patterns, vital signs, and patient signs and symptoms.
- Interpret clinical data.
- Act in accordance with clinical data interpretation and physician orders.
- Demonstrate proficiency in caring for monitored patients.
- Interpret diagnostic tests as they relate to patient care.
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
- Demonstrate clinical proficiency in unit-specific competencies and mandatory requirements.
- Complete criterion-referenced competency checklists.
