About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, providing registered nurses to fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. This per-diem ICU RN position is based at Trinity Health Ann Arbor and requires floating among three of the five Trinity Health hospitals in Southeast Michigan. Night shifts are available, with a stated schedule of 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The position requires three shifts every six weeks, with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care and the other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Obtain and maintain credentials required for the specialty; BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions as assigned.
Use the standard elements of professional nursing practice: assess, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
Practice independently and appropriately within the limits of licensure, knowledge, and experience.
Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
Adapt to new and additional responsibilities, embrace new ideas and cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.
