Registered Nurse - Telemetry -FT Night Shift
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides competent nursing care using the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, identifying outcomes, planning, implementation, care coordination, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN also practices according to professional standards covering ethics, culturally congruent care, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN applies the clinical knowledge and skills required to meet standards in the specific clinical area. This position is in Cardiac Telemetry at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston, Virginia, on the night shift. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required; students completing an accredited nursing program may apply.
- Registered nursing license required; students in the process of obtaining a registered nursing license may apply.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
