Registered Nurse | Night Shift
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide medical care at Jefferson Correctional Institution in Monticello, Florida. The RN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice. The role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs. The position is a night shift schedule, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends and 36 hours per week. Centurion provides medical and mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections and contracts with state and local governments to deliver healthcare in correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
Requirements
- Associate's degree.
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Appropriate and active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
