About The Position

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center, now under new ownership by Eduro Healthcare LLC, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the long-term care unit at its skilled nursing facility in Sheridan, Wyoming. The position’s primary purpose is to ensure high-quality resident care, support staff, and contribute to a positive community reputation while upholding Eduro Healthcare’s values. The role includes comprehensive nursing care, clinical supervision, coordination with the interdisciplinary team, and accurate clinical documentation. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
Active Registered Nurse license issued by Wyoming.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Experience as a Registered Nurse; the posting describes the candidate as experienced but does not specify a minimum number of years.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive registered nursing care for residents.
Conduct nursing assessments and evaluate changes in residents’ conditions to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards.
Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy as permitted by state practice, tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures.
Supervise, delegate to, and provide clinical guidance for LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts.
Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.
Complete required documentation, assessments, and clinical records accurately and on time in accordance with regulatory standards.
