About The Position
V/O Med Spa West Bloomfield is seeking an addition to its team in Aesthetic Services. The position provides aesthetic, non-surgical cosmetic evaluations and consultations, treatments, and treatment recommendations as delegated by an overseeing physician. Treatments may include injections of neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other body and facial products; platelet-rich plasma therapy; microneedling and RF microneedling; semaglutide; IV hydration therapy; lip and buttock enhancement; cryolipolysis and other fat-reduction treatments; and chemical peels. The role works closely with an overseeing physician, medical assistant, nurse assistant, and spa manager. The posting also identifies medical assistants and/or nurse assistants as subordinate positions. The work takes place in a spa environment.
Requirements
- Legally certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant within the jurisdiction of employment, as stated in the qualifications.
- Knowledge of current aesthetic treatment practices, products, and trends.
- At least one year of injecting experience.
- Comfort consulting patients regarding cosmetic needs, techniques, and treatment plans.
- Organizational, communication, time-management, and self-management skills.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Ability to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, bi-manual dexterity, and fine motor skills.
- Use proper personal protective equipment when exposed to blood and bodily fluids.

Responsibilities
- Provide aesthetic non-surgical cosmetic evaluations and consultations.
- Perform aesthetic treatments as delegated by an overseeing physician.
- Recommend aesthetic treatment plans to patients.
- Consult patients regarding their cosmetic needs, techniques, and treatment plans.
- Work closely with the overseeing physician, medical assistant, nurse assistant, and spa manager.
- Supervise medical assistants and/or nurse assistants, as applicable.
