About The Position

V/O Med Spa Rochester is seeking an addition to its team to provide aesthetic non-surgical cosmetic evaluations, consultations, treatments, and treatment recommendations as delegated by an overseeing physician. Treatments may include neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, body and facial injections, platelet-rich plasma therapy, microneedling and RF microneedling, semaglutide, IV hydration therapy, lip and buttock enhancement, cryolipolysis and other fat-reduction treatments, and chemical peels. The position is in the Aesthetic Services department. The role works closely with an overseeing physician, medical assistant, nurse assistant, and spa manager, and may have a medical assistant and/or nurse assistant as subordinate positions. The work environment is a spa. Compensation is $35 per hour or more, plus commission and a bonus structure based on experience.

Requirements

Legally certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant within the jurisdiction of employment.
Knowledge of current aesthetic treatment practices, products, and trends.
One year or more of injecting experience.
Comfort consulting patients regarding cosmetic needs, techniques, and treatment plans.
Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
Use proper personal protective equipment when exposed to blood and bodily fluids.
Ability to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, bimanual dexterity, and fine motor skills.
