About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Weekend Option at Riverwalk Village. The role offers $49 per hour. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The position calls for a supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and respectful interpersonal communication. The nurse also provides medication management, conducts assessments, and documents changes in residents’ conditions.

Requirements

• Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.

• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
