About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time, days, weekend-only Staff Registered Nurse for Baptist General Med Surg at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. INTEGRIS Health is a not-for-profit health system whose mission is to partner with people to live healthier lives. The nurse manages the delivery and documentation of patient care, coordinates care with other personnel, and provides guidance to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate. The role reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. The position may involve additional or varied physical demands and respiratory fit-test requirements, as well as potential exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Standard precautions must be followed.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Demonstrate core competencies within 90 days.
Complete unit-specific competencies within 12 months.
Follow standard precautions.

Responsibilities

Assess and reassess patients.
Develop patient plans of care.
Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
Evaluate patient care interventions.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Manage the delivery and documentation of patient care.
