About The Position

The Virtual Care Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients through virtual and remote care platforms. The role performs patient assessments, care coordination, patient education, clinical documentation, and ongoing patient monitoring using multiple healthcare technology systems, including the electronic medical record (EMR). The nurse builds collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality outcomes, patient safety, and continuity of care. The role follows organizational policies, professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and privacy guidelines to ensure safe, compliant, patient-centered care in a virtual environment.

Requirements

Current RN license, or a license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing; must be a compact license.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
At least three years of experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
