Registered Nurse (RN) - FT Days | Wiregrass Ranch Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is hiring a Registered Nurse for its new rehabilitation hospital. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and connection to community resources. The RN may also perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties when appropriately certified.
Requirements
- Current registered nurse licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- AHA-approved BLS and ACLS certifications are required within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
- Provide patients and families with teaching for post-hospitalization.
- Access community resources for patients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties when applicable.
