About The Position
The Registered Clinical Dietitian plans regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by Medical Staff. The role includes routinely visiting patients, counseling those with nutritional needs, participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs, and helping maintain the department’s Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan. This position is with PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch, a new rehabilitation hospital opening in the fall.
Requirements
- Be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Be licensed by the state in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Rehabilitation experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages as prescribed by Medical Staff.
- Routinely visit patients.
- Counsel patients with nutritional needs.
- Participate in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
- Assist with maintaining the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
