About The Position

Grifols is seeking Registered Nurses for its plasma donation center. The role involves determining donor suitability, supporting donor satisfaction and safety, protecting confidentiality, providing education and counseling, managing injuries and adverse events, and assisting with employee training and vaccination programs. Work is performed in a plasma center and may involve exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and temperatures below 32°F in plasma freezers. Personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear, is required for relevant tasks. The position is based at 13473 Perris Blvd, Moreno Valley, California. The estimated pay scale is $39.00–$42.00 per hour, with eligibility to participate in up to 4% of the company bonus pool. Requirements

Be educated and currently certified or licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment, according to state requirements.
Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

Perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability.
Build rapport with donors to support overall customer satisfaction.
Ensure donor and staff confidentiality.
Promote donor awareness of potential hazards.
Provide donor education regarding general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results.
Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.
Evaluate histories of illness or medication use to ensure continued donor suitability.
Assist with employee training.
Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.
