About The Position

Devereux is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Programs (PRTF) for adolescent females and males with a Behavioral Health and/or IDD/Autism diagnoses at our West Chester, PA location. Our programs provide clinical treatment, educational instruction and behavioral intervention services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. The PRN Registered Nurse will work 4 shifts per month, including 1 Summer and 1 Winter Holiday, with 2 shifts required on the weekend. This role offers comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma informed care, CPR, first aid, and cultural competencies, as well as participation in the ASCEND- Career Accelerator Program which includes tuition and student loan repayment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing with a B.S.N., Diploma or A.D.
• Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• One year of post-education nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with cognitive and/or behavioral challenges or medically complex conditions.
• Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications.
• Experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.
• Valid driver's license must be maintained.

Responsibilities
