About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics for an acute care hospital in Lubbock, Texas. The assignment is 16 weeks, with two openings and listed start dates of November 2, 2026, and December 14, 2026. Nurses may work day shifts from 7:00 to 19:00 or night shifts from 19:00 to 7:00, in three 12-hour shifts. The role may float between units, with expected patient ratios of 1:3–5. Weekend work is required: five shifts in a six-week period. Overtime is listed as 1.3% for 40 total hours in one week. Weekly pay is $1,976. Eligible workers may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week.
Requirements
- Active Texas RN license; compact license accepted where applicable.
- Pediatrics specialty.
- At least one year of recent Pediatrics experience.
- BLS certification.
- PALS certification.

- Pediatric experience is preferred.
