About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides clinical expertise to support high-quality, efficient patient care in an OB/MFM practice. The role manages patient flow, prepares patients for examinations, provides general nursing care, arranges testing and admissions, educates patients and families about medications and treatment instructions, maintains patient records and test results, administers medications as ordered, checks rooms for supplies, and responds to or refers incoming calls, including phone triage when needed. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday during the day, with no nights, on-call shifts, weekends, or holidays. The nurse is expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct and the organization’s Mission and Value Statement.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of registered nursing.
• Hold a Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations.
• List current license information on the application.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Experience as an RN in OBGYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow, including screening, examination preparation, general nursing care, and arranging testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, including posting test and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.
