Registered Nurse-New Grad START Nurse Residency Program
About The Position
Rush Copley is recruiting recent nursing graduates and registered nurses with less than one year of experience for its START Nurse Residency Program. The program has received the Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) with Distinction designation from the ANCC. The next cohort begins in March 2027. Applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted during the weeks of December 7 and December 14, 2026. Applicants should complete an online application, register with a username and password, and include their GPA. Applications submitted before active recruitment begins will be held. Candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted by Human Resources by email to submit a portfolio, which may include a 500-word essay explaining why they should be chosen, academic credentials or transcripts, and letters of recommendation from clinical instructors. The portfolio is due within one week of being contacted, and all portfolios must be submitted by November 30, 2026. Applications may remain on file for future consideration if the applicant is not contacted.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with less than one year of experience, or a recent graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
