About The Position
The Registered Nurse position is within the Emergency Department at Stratford General Hospital. This is a temporary job share role. Requirements
- Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Paediatric and adult assessment, including triage and Acuity Scale
- 12 lead ECG Interpretation
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Nice To Haves
- Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing preferred
- Advance Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Emergency Nursing Certificate (ENC)
- Emergency Trauma Life Support (ETLS)
- Trauma Management
Responsibilities
- Provide paediatric and adult assessment, including triage and Acuity Scale.
- Perform 12 lead ECG Interpretation.
- Utilize Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Work independently with excellent communication skills.
- Plan, organize, and problem solve.
