About The Position
Winchester Hospital is a 183-bed regional hospital and a leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. The Registered Nurse will work in the Progressive Care/Cardiac Unit, delivering patient care and collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals. The position is per diem.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- BSN is strongly encouraged.
- Work experience in the unit-specific specialty is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete patient assessments; administer medications and treatments; observe patient progress; and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
- Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
