Registered Nurse, Progressive Care/Cardiac Unit A1, 36hrs Nights
About The Position
Winchester Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care/Cardiac A1 team. The nurse provides patient care in the PCU/Cardiac unit, including assessments, medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and evaluating therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness. The nurse collaborates with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal care strategy for each patient and supports and educates patients and their loved ones to help achieve the best possible outcomes. The position is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation. Staff must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Work experience in the unit-specific specialty is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly encouraged.
- Work experience in the unit-specific specialty.
