About The Position
The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) works at the Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights, a 20-bed psychiatric hospital serving geriatric patients with mental health needs such as cognitive illnesses. The facility provides care in a supportive and therapeutic environment. The RN assesses patient needs, implements care plans, administers medications, and educates patients and families. The role also helps ensure a safe, compliant, and healing environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in Missouri.
- CPR/BLS required.

- One year of nursing experience in a behavioral or geriatric setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers.
- Administer and document medications accurately.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards.
