Registered Nurse RN Full Time Night Shift
About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to work at Putnamville Correctional Facility in Greencastle, Indiana. Centurion Health provides medical and behavioral health services to the Indiana Department of Correction and contracts with state and local governments to provide healthcare in correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings. The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The RN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs. The schedule is a 3/12-hour night shift with a bracket schedule. Pay is $38–$49 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate compact license.
- Active and appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
