About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides care in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. On each shift, the RN partners with a Nursing Assistant and manages a manageable caseload, helping patients achieve goals and milestones in their individualized care plans. The position is full-time, with 12-hour night shifts, in Orlando, Florida. Compensation is $34.92–$47 per hour, plus night and/or weekend shift differential. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document care accurately and promptly using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Partner with a Nursing Assistant to support patients in achieving goals and milestones in their care plans.
