About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital that provides inpatient post-ICU care to chronic, critically ill patients requiring extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment throughout patients’ recovery. The role is full-time on the night shift, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, in Davenport, Iowa. The listed hourly rate is $39.38 to $53.00, with additional differentials for nights and weekends, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence during Rapid Response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
