St. Luke’s Cancer Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and Hematologic Malignancies team in Boise. The role is based in Idaho’s sole BMT and Hematologic Malignancies Program, which provides comprehensive care and cellular therapy for patients with blood cancers. This is a dual-role position, dividing time between triage and supporting advanced practice providers (APPs) as a Primary Nurse. In the Primary Nurse role, the RN evaluates patients, assists with care and procedures, coordinates care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, provides education and emotional support, and contributes to assessments and care plans. In triage, the RN uses critical thinking and assessment skills to triage calls and evaluate patients of all ages undergoing treatment, providing compassionate support to patients and families. The position is posted as full-time at 0.9 FTE, typically four 9-hour shifts per week. A 0.8 FTE schedule of four 8-hour shifts may be considered. The role has day shifts and no nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays.
